SmartBargain.com finished its auction today at NameJet with a final sales price of $11,211. An interesting sale considering the domain name belonged to SmartBargains.com.
SmartBargains.com has been an online retailer since as far back as 2000. We can only speculate that allowing the domain name to expire and go to auction was an oversight, as it would seem a logical choice to renew, and preserve the guaranteed type-ins that SmartBargain.com gets.
Although I think a great domain name, I would worry for the potential of TM issues, and a company that probably will want their domain name back. Good luck to the new owner.

Well, not all LLLL.com’s. In fact, looking for specific letter combinations. I am looking to purchase LLLL.com’s that end in CA. Just about any letter combo in front is fine, but it must end in CA.
Im willing to spend between $20-$400 per domain name (based on the letters). Please send email me at Justin(at)NameBio.com with your domains and include your price. Without a price, I will ignore the email.

With some development projects needing funding, It seems I must liquidate a few assets. With a little bit of regret, I am offering Coru.com for sale at $2,250. This premium lettered CVCV has been registered since 1998 and is just a knock out. This price is only good for today, after that its going back up to $2.5k
All sales will be through Escrow.com (Buyer Responsible for Fees)

A quick gander at the CVCV.com prices shows a still very strong niche amongst domainers. The last 3 domain sales in our datbase:
- Bile.com - $8,300
- Vigi.com - $3,101
- Niba.com - $4,800
It seems that Domainers are holding strong on these ,and while LLL.com’s seemed to have slipped in this tough market, CVCV’s continue (with good lettering) to maintane value.

Last week, some of you may have noticed some of Register.com’s domain names in the pre-release section of NameJet. Some thought it was a mistake, others thought perhaps SnapNames lost another register. As it turns out, NameJet gives Register.com the option to list domain names with their pre-release.
Obviously a brilliant move, but seeing how many domain names register put in the pre-release, makes us wonder if this "test" will eventually become standard practice. Its been very clear that NameJets platform has been very successful as of late, especially compared with SnapNames lack of domains and inconsistent up-time.

I am a dog lover. I currently have two dogs, a German Sherpard mix and a Lab mix. One is 4 and the other is 1 years old. I have been very fortunate since now not to ever lose anyone very close to me. But yesterday I flew back to my families home in San Diego as our family dog of 17 years was on her last leg.
She was an old girl, and a member of our family since I was just a boy. Things had gotten harder for her the past few years. It became tougher and tougher for her to bend her legs and hips. We had her put down earlier this evening and it was one of the hardest things Ive ever done.
Although heart-breaking, I was fortunate enough to be here to say Goodbye. It was the right thing to do, I know it was. Now I will go home and cherrish her memmories and the ones I will make with my dogs at home.
Some of you I have no doubt will thing I’m a bit dramatic, but I think you need to be a Dog Lover to understand.

Although NamePros uses a Chat Window as their auction interface, they have truely done a nice job bringing in better quality domain names and even buyers to spend on them. This auction seems to be about every 2 weeks and is a charge by listing format. The fee is based on NamePros dollars, which is the equvalent to about $4 per listing.
They offer two kinds of listings. A reserve price option (pretty straight forward) and a seller choice option. The sellers choice option starts off with no reserve but if the bidding doesnt reach the sellers expectations he has a buy-out clause. He then would pay the winning bidder 20% of their bid (Maxed at 400 namepros dollars, or $8 USD).
Some notable domain names in the auction are:
- Coru.com
- Controversy.com
- Consummate.com
- Hono.com
- 9U.net
- Tuje.com
- Fafu.com
There are many more, and quite a few premium LLLL.com lots. If this is your first auction and you win a domain name, you are required to complete the transaction with the seller, before bidding again. You may also place pre-bids here:
