April 29th, 2009Some great domain names at some very fair reserves. My personaly favorite is the no reserve Announced.com. I love the possibility of this domain name and with a no reserve tag, it will sell. Good luck to all the bidders out there, if your not already registered had on over to Snapnames real fast.
They certainly have some nice names (prices not yet really known though) but I don’t think this is one of them. It’s not even brandable. That ‘d’ sticks in my craw - best you anybody who went back would go to announce.com.
And being in the past tense doesn’t help either - what do you need if its ‘announced’? You’re right about NR making it somewhat attractive.
Again, think there are better paces to put your money. I call these ‘butter-names’ - nice at first glance and with No Reserve BUT…

Thanks for writing. Announced.com I like as a wedding or event announcement service. Its got a great sound to it and it makes more sense to me then Announce.com for that purpose. But, time will tell and I agree there are many domains in that list that are unappealing, but Ive seen worse.
