NamePros Auctions Keep getting better

October 2nd, 2008

Although NamePros uses a Chat Window as their auction interface, they have truely done a nice job bringing in better quality domain names and even buyers to spend on them.  This auction seems to be about every 2 weeks and is a charge by listing format. The fee is based on NamePros dollars, which is the equvalent to about $4 per listing.

They offer two kinds of listings. A reserve price option (pretty straight forward) and a seller choice option. The sellers choice option starts off with no reserve but if the bidding doesnt reach the sellers expectations he has a buy-out clause. He then would pay the winning bidder 20% of their bid (Maxed at 400 namepros dollars, or $8 USD).

Some notable domain names in the auction are:

  • Coru.com
  • Controversy.com
  • Consummate.com
  • Hono.com
  • 9U.net
  • Tuje.com
  • Fafu.com

There are many more, and quite a few premium LLLL.com lots. If this is your first auction and you win a domain name, you are required to complete the transaction with the seller, before bidding again. You may also place pre-bids here:
