If your a simpsons fan, you immediately laughed when you saw this name. A popular Character on the classic TV show, his namesake sold today at NameJet for $11,660.

Smithers is the name of a town in BC, Canada. Population about 10 or 15 thousand with a ski hill. Wouldn’t be surprised if the name was bought for a city/tourism site. Price was reasonable too.

Quite frankly, I didn’t bother to even research the name, I just happened to be amused that it was the name of a Simpsons Character. Im one dimensional I suppose. =)
