NameBio Continues to Improve

April 3rd, 2008

My philosophy has always been, its never quite good enough. There is so much more that can be done. So, for the sake of improvement and growth new functions and feeds have been built. As of today here are some new features you can use on NameBio.com:

  • Even more detailed pattern search (using specific letters and numbers as well as hyphens)
  • SnapNames.com Sales Feed (expect to see several new sales per day from SnapNames)
  • CSV download of upto 100 Sales (for any searches, just below page view)
  • TLD Pairing - Now instead of just Alphabetically, ccTLD’s are grouped together (Like .org.uk .co.uk, ect)
  • Bug Fix: Drop down page number no longer reverts back to page 1.
  • Bug Fix: Single letter searches no longer search TLD

What can you expect to see in the future?

We are currently working on a search bar restyling. Expect to see more of our main search functions on the main tab. We are working towards adding a keyword search tool that will enable you to search for sold dictionary keywords. You will also be able to search for prefixes on dictionary terms like: i, e, my, your, ect… We also are in discussions about a possible widget for blogs, which will put a small search interface on someones blog, and allow their users to search for domain sales without having to go to NameBio.

Basically, we are trying to improve. If you ever have an idea you think would make NameBio a better place - please dont hesitate to send it my way.
